It's pretty simple. If a function is available /active it should show as available or if it doesn't function in this screen or frame it should either not appear or be dimmed to demonstrate it is not available/active. Ie: I search , find 10 items review them in full display and use the little check box in upper right hand corner of display to mark those I want to keep to print for showing. Then I hit the USE CHECKED button on left of screen. Then dialog box shows up asking me to define what I want to do with the selected listings. It even shows the 5 I marked the check box for. I choose PRINT and it starts printing , not the 5 checked ones but all 10 that my original search found. So what's the deal , if checking is not applicable it should not be available as a button or a live button ,nor should their be a check box on the displayed listing. It's standard on many programs including simple emails. If I can't for instance use font formatting tools like BOLD or Italics , the buttons either don't appear or are grayed out and inactive. NOT so with Innovia.
