Innovia Crashing or Freezing??????


I received an email from Jack Best with regard to IE crashing or freezing... he suggested we go to this link and follow their instructions..

I did read all the info on this link and I have already done all this but I am passing it on to those of you that maybe have not updated your system, java, deleted your cookies and/or temporary internet files...

This is not the problem. The problem is with the back end of our MLS system.

Problem; entering mls no. in quick search function

1.enter mls no. in quick serch
2. hit go button
3.get blank white page

strange coincidence; get call from another agent having same problem at same time!

Problem; enter street name hit quick search
GET BLANK WHITE PAGE!

STRANGE COINCIDANCE; 2 AGENTS HAVING SAME PROBLEM AT SAME TIME. MUST BE OUR COMPUTERS! MUST BE MICROSOFT! COULDNT POSSSIBLY BE I/W,COULD IT?????

"Hi,I am in hurry and won't have time to dink with BB . Curse you all!!!I've only had Innovia log me out of itself when I hit the print button, NEVER had it freeze up on me and crash ALL my windows and running /up programs .Well thanks to the curse that finally happened to me this morning. And of all mornings. I am trying to leave for vacation this morning , reading and dumping all the junk and mass emails.When I decide to send a client a reply with a link to a listing that might work for their needs as soon as I get into Innovia and get to the printer friendly list , hit checked box , hit USE CHECKED ____THE DAMN ------ thing freezes up my whole system.NOTHING to do now but go to start , turn off. Which thankfully did eventually work.Of course all my efforts, email, searches etc were lost and at such a convenient time, I really have nothing better to do this morning than redo all that so I can leave for vacation.DAMN THIS INNOVIAAnyway ,sending this to you as it was quickest way once I got rebooted to let you know about another agent having this logout, freeze up problem. It is a real pain in the a--. I thought I had it bad with it just logging me out of Innovia, that at least was just a restart Innovia, this total freeze up was a lot of lost work in several windows and the reboot time.Not really blaming the group, just seems that the curse of Innovia worsens as time passes. Will try to get my simple email link to client resent and be on my way. When I return from trip will post this on BB.I wonder if Innovia offers Valium discounts to go along with it's program? Or if we can get a group discount on a prescription for the Valium before I kill someone.Ro ,"

I will post the problem as soon as I get a chance. I will call my web guy about my web page, thank you. I used to have it link to Wardex Public site for people to search, however every time someone would try to search for property it would say that you are no longer "logged in". I spoke with another agent in my office and she was having the same problem, she called Wardex and they said that they never have a problem with that and it must be something on her computer not allowing it. So that is why I just changed it to LHAR. So that is one problem
The other problem is that when you are on Wardex public site and you click to email it will link you to the brokers email. (I have not tried that but Mindi in my office is the one that told me that)."

You don't mention whether the link/patch given to you by Jack is making it work okay.  Is it fixed?

Today 2/15 at 10:15am Wardex crashes while I'm trying to show homes at the office. Won't move, won't let me do a thing. Try to laugh the whole thing off to computers and do a , alt, control delete so that I can have the computer back. Lost everything and of course had to look like this just happened for the 1st time in my life. While it happens all the time and Jack's solution has been done at least 3 times and my Java is just fine thanks too. I waste more time trying to keep this system up, or trying to get homes that I know are in there to come out, and I really can't wait till we find a  system where they really can deliver what they say they can. I thank Dori everyday that we all have a place to write down what's wrong because I'm very tired of hearing, "we never heard that complaint from anyone" yet here we are all saying the same thing, WOW

weirdfaceWardex makes me so mad. I have a client sitting with me waiting to see homes. I get different results on the exact same search information. I have to keep starting over because the screen freezes up. I want to throw the computer out the window! This is not my first time to use this program but it feels like it everytime I sit down to search for properties.

I think this is the worst, when you look like an idiot in front of clients . they find a home you cant find with the whole damn mls data base!!

Thank you so much for confirming my frustration. As you said, they can find a house faster than I can pull it up on Wardex. What can we do?idea

our options are 2 really; get out the contract with Innovia and go back to paragon, stating a new learning process with a new program is  not likely to appeal to most.
tough out the next year and a half, while searching for a new system.
keep posting here as Innovia is monitoring this and tring to fix the many problems we have.
it is not a good over all fix and personally I think the program is too flawed to every work well. see this link to a BB in Austin, Tx

Just learn to open Wardex in its own tab or browser window so when it "dissapears" it wont take down all your other open windows or tabs.
