New WarDex Login Screen

confused Why did they do this? What is it suppossed to do? Really seems like a waste of time and money to me as it didnt seem to fix anything... or is it just for looks and to justify someones salary?

Useless...seems like they (Wardex) really want to force their BS on us by forcing the user to log in through their pathetic site...

So, bypass it all together...

Once you are at the "new" log in screen, right click on a blank spot on the page and click "create shortcut". This will place a shortcut on your desktop that takes you straight to the log in page...

If you have a previous shortcut on your desktop to the "old" screen, go ahead and delete it to avoid any confusion...

Pass this along to anyone who has complained about this.

P.S.: This shows you the level of "intelligence" when making these decisions. I would love to see the face of the admin when he goes and checks the traffic to his log in page and sees it dwindling down to near nothing...lol biggrin biggrin biggrin

Oh yes, proof the new portal causes problems, from Innovia/ML themselves

Deb,            I got together with one of our trainers Ashley Allred this week as she was duplicating the same issue on her pc. What we figured out to resolve the issue was to add http://www.wardexre.com to the list of trusted sites. Originally, the site was wardexre.com, and then the board wanted to make it a secure site so the https prefix was added. Evidently the last redirect to the wardex-online.com website caused some security confusion in some browsers which triggered the security message you received. I am glad that we figured this out & please let me know if you have any further questions.  Best Wishes,Austin Lynch
and my response to them;
what we really needed was more problems with wardex, so lets make a new portal for it. great idea! now tell me how i explain this to the client who recieved this crap, and has now, more than likely ,blocked my emails. which is what i would do if this was sent to me! yeah, i am mad, mad and frustrated.
b/t/w austin, why would i make http safe when it is now https? and i wasnt using the portal when i sent the email.
this program has not only cost me precious time, over and over. it cost me , in this case a client, a client which in this climate is precious. i have no faith in this program, whatever your intentions are to "fix" problems (and you all seem very nice,) the program is seriously flawed and every day there are new errors. one fire is put out and another one pops up.
i would love to have you both follow us around for just 2 days, to see what we experiance trying to do our jobs. you would be ashamed to have your name connected to this.
with complete and utter frustration, oh, and no hope..
deb
